The Hands-Free Muffler firmly clamps to the drum rim at two points with rubber mounting strips while the muffler pad itself has enough weight to stay on the head at louder dynamics. Adjust the strap around your neck and as you lean back, the muffler pad lifts off the head allowing full sustain. The muffler can also be used in traditional one mallet playing position allowing the free hand to control ring duration with the open neck strap simply used as a handle.
